Welcome to 2050
This project is about exploring the cybernetic world when humans are able to travel or live their life through the modification of their bodies online or have a mixed reality. It is an on going project, keep exploring the experience and world swtting.
The whole project is developed based on RCA 2020 Grand Challenge topic on safety and furthered based on questions I raised to Professors of Imperial College of London, NYU, and John Cabot University in Rome during a series of talks on Posthumanism and Transhumanism 2022 from history, science and biology, philosophy and my own theology perspectives. Includes research-based on Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, and Political, factors in 2050. It is a speculative and ongoing design process. After I had this session of talking with industry professionals in history, Philosophy and biology I realized there are many arguments in post and transhumanism, and on many topics, people have very polaroppiste opinions. But any industry professional would see it optimistically while the media is very critical.
The session that triggered this project combined with a critical perspective to really see what if all these technology and philosophy are implemented in the world, what it would be like.
Especially the concept of cyber humans, people are connected and modified themselves to be able to live a life between reality and Virtual reality.
I made this Newspaper to demonstrate a bright future. But what if it doesn't go as we wish?
Disruptive innovations are the ones driving us. Communication is always been a major part of human society.

A mind connection or humans living in Augmented reality or fully virtually is a key theme for the future from my research. But between our current technology and the science fiction, we have been enjoying there is a huge gap. The technological advancement and the scale of implementation may not be as extreme as in these science fiction works, for example, in Cyberpunk 2077, all humans have enhanced body parts implanted or ghosts in the shell. For a much more realistic world setting, I would pursue it more like a balanced world with restrictions from the ethical side and political side to make it less fictional but more down-to-earth.
Now it is the year 2050, Truly Cybernetic. Be disappointed. When we do whatever we want, we embrace transhumanism, posthumanism, Would this bring us Joy? Dive in and tell. The project itself is more about a reflection of what we think we can do and what the benefits are. Ethics often are ignored when technology may provide a promising vision.
